Certification
Examination and invigilation will be conducted by us. A certificate of performance will be issued to every participant whose attendance is not less than 75% and also complete and pass theory and practical examination.

Trainers
Mr. Tay Thye Sun holds a Bachelor of Science in geology and Masters degree from University of London. Mr. Tay is an experienced gemstone dealer and also a professional gemmologist since 1981. In recent years, he has specialized in providing gem testing and gemmological instruction services. His gem testing laboratory has ISO accreditation since 1998, and also a license appraisal and he is recognized throughout Asia for the integrity of his laboratory service. He is a member of United Nations organisation of expert and also a member of prestigious gemmologists circle, by invitations only, of the International Gemmological Conference.

Miss Loke Huiying holds a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy, a Diploma in Gemology and is a Certified Diamond Grader. Miss Loke joined Far East Gemological Institute at the end of 2007 and has subsequently been involved in managing the operations and training activities. She is now a certified trainer upon receiving the Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) towards the end of 2010. Also in 2010, Miss Loke has trained more than 100 students in WSQ diamonds, gemstones and jewellery retail courses. She has also conducted gem and diamond workshops in collaboration with the People's Association and Hwa Chong Institution.
